from a young age , aries was disciplined to fall in line more with what was customary in her people's traditions. however , no amount of punishment -- such as being sat in a corner to holding hyoi pears out all day -- could get her to waver. she challenged the gender roles presented to her so early on in life that the elders relented , allowing her to take what she was passionate in and form a new identity. the all-mighty sky spirit himself did not once complain , in fact , he supported what lifestyle she saw best for herself. the girl's main focus was archery , to be a useful soldier to protect their lands and each other from any imposing threats. many men of their tribe passed down knowledge to the young girl , and they had learned not to underestimate her just because of her age or gender. there was no one on the island that was harder on the young girl besides herself , waking up at daybreak just to hone her skills until dusk. with many years of dedication, it finally payed off and she was recognized for her incredible adeptness at archery.aries was secure in her position among her people , but glory found itself to her when the chosen hero had valiantly saved valoo and their people from the great terrors of gohma -- the great beast that burrowed itself within their cavern. because of this , valoo saw fit to send their best archer to watch over the budding hero as he crosses the great sea , and aries could not deny such an honor.

▻ there's nothing more humiliating than for the younger sister to give her blessing , and to cheer too.► the archer is not much of a cuddler , but she's weak to those green eyes and gives in immediately.
▻ he can get away with just about anything , and she's sure he knows of this weakness.► he could give them something as simple as a dandelion , and she'd be utterly bewitched -- fascinated for hours with scenarios on end playing on repeat.► there have been several times where she's bitten her tongue when intended to come forthright with her affections. the many times she's wanted to say '' i love you '' during their journey , and the one time she does.
